Piazo is from a generation of artists whose emblem is unlimited. My karate championship titles in Cameroon and Africa, and the fact that I have won numerous awards in art painting and cartoons encourage me a lot to believe in that voice, that voice that I have chosen.
Born inside Bantu's culture in Cameroon, I realized very quickly that I had more than my classmates. Until a certain age, I managed to become what I am without the knowledge of my parents, who were teachers and who did not want to hear about my ambitions, especially my father. Still, thanks to their efforts, I got a Bachelor in Applied Mathematics at the University of Douala. As a new holder of a Bachelor of Mathematics and Physical Sciences, one day I took my courage and I told my father that these dreams I had about art, I could achieve them.
At Angoulême in France, where I was invited and will at the famous Festival International of cartoon (BD), I felt impressed and a bit discouraged by the level of technical and material advancement other guests had. Zambé my spiritual father told me, "it is not because we come from the South that the material should impress us."
Today, I am continuing my studies in Montreal, where I realized my childhood dream with local artists: the cartoon. I am among those who decided to break the boundaries of mediocrity, which is why I deserve the title of multidisciplinary artist.
Drawing, comics, graphic design, 2D animation, 3D, education as well Plastic Art, Sculpture, and Architecture are my daily bread: my passion.
Through my work, I now invite you to enter my world.
